Festival Fashion Guide Checklist #1 - Hair Musts

Festivals. Who doesn’t love them? Whether you are preparing for Glasto, Reading/ Leeds or a local festival it is important that you go prepared. (You don’t want to wake up one day realising you’ve forgotten extra pants and hope that Mother Nature starts to grow them on trees!!)
So this first list is about hair. Hair accessories are always a fun way to showcase a care-free, festival vibe (and adds something extra to a selfie). Therefore, I have listed 6 hair accessories and products which are essential to take to festivals which won’t take up much room in your suitcase:

#1 - Dry Shampoo - a must for a festival, especially if you’re there for the weekend. A simple, easy way to make your hair looking as fresh as a daisy.

#2 - Bobbles - and lots of them!! They are easy to loose on an everyday basis so imagine it at a festival when it’s busy and you're half out of it! If you don’t want to run the risk of loosing them then it’s always good to get multicolour ones and just place a couple on your wrist - it’s a good disguise for a bracelet! (Make sure they are not too tight though - loose bobbles are friendly to your wrist!)

#3 - Flower Headband - it is not a festival if you do not have one of these! It’s like the indie essential to festivals. A mainstream hipster mash-up available in most retail stores! If you don't like the whole 'flowers in the hair' concept then you could always interweave a ribbon into a braid to get a similar indie style!

#4 - Hairspray - this is amazing when you want to keep a hairstyle for a couple of days. Whack your hair in a plait across your forehead, compliment it with a messy bun, spray your hair each morning lightly and then you’ll have your festival hairdo in place. No worry, no hassle.

#5 - Brush - although simple and obvious it is so easy to forget a hairbrush. Trust me...

#6 - Thick Haircrip - if you’re having a bad hair day this makes it so easy to look stylish without effort. Clump your hair together, twist it round several times, push it to your scalp and put the crip in. Viola!

I hope that my checklist helps you when you're packing for festivals. Have fun and enjoy the music and atmosphere of it all. That's the most important thing. Festivals are a lot of fun so let you're hair down! Hope my advice helps!
